Compassionate Science

Science and technology is something that I want to get into for the future. I don't really know in what field or career, but I know that in the future that is what I want to get involved with. Building and designing things that could change the world is something that I would attempt to do. There are people that work just for the paycheck, but for myself I would work in this field to make the world a better place. Earth is in need of scientists and people willing to work with technology so they can help with the problems this planet has. I would be compassionate for the world and working in a scientific field would show it. For example, people in Africa are suffering with the spread of many deadly diseases. Most of the world doesn't think about this too much, or even care as a matter of fact. But for the scientists that study this, they are working to help this side of the world and are attempting to give these people a healthier life.

The Future

In one hundred years, the Earth is going to seem like a whole different world. With the rise of many fascinating things, rises as well many dangerous things. Global warming and the use of gas and oil will only increase. The world population will sky-rise, and the Earth will be overpopulated with billions and billions of more people. World tensions will also be high, and war could occur, with the use of nuclear and other highly dangerous weaponry. But, there will also be many things that will be good for the rest of the world. Diseases which are not curable now will be able to be cured in the future, and with the rapid growth of technology, there will be so many more technological advances. Smarter phones, faster computers, and more will continue to rise. Faster ways of travel with evolve as well. There would also be space travel, being able to go planet to planet and explore what else there is across the Solar System. Many amazing and fascinating things will come, but also dangerous and terrifying things as well.

One Time I Laughed Really, Really Hard

One time that I laughed really hard was on 4th of July a few years ago. My birthday is on the 28th of June, so in the past, we would have the party on the 4th of July. During the party, it was late at night, and we were all cracking fireworks. We were having a fun time, when one of my uncles, who was really drunk, fell asleep on the grass. So we thought, how about we crack a firework near him and scare the daylights out of him. So we lit up a firework, the ones which make really loud noises, and placed it near his ear. When the firework cracked, he woke up so abruptly and screamed, standing up and running around in the front yard yelling like a maniac. What made it even funnier was that he peed his pants from how loud the firework was, running while his jeans were being soaked. The family and myself couldn't stop laughing and it is something that I will never forget.

Modern Times Review

Modern Times, directed by Charlie Chaplin, was a good film. One reason why it was enjoyable was the comedy. It had a lot of funny scenes that were fun to watch and made the audience laugh and smile, which at the time is what the viewers needed. Another reason why the movie was good is because of the plot and the way Chaplin made the story. Back in 1936, most of America's citizens were in a state of unemployment and depression. Chaplin knew what state society was in, so he made Modern Times based around it, to make the audience feel as if they can relate to the factory workers. The third reason is the ending, telling the gamin, and the audience, then that even though you are going through a rough time in your lives, you just need to smile, and keep your head up high.
